WebSep 21, 2024 · Once I have a pool of solder on the battery I would dip the pre-tinned wire into that pool without the soldering iron being connected. If that still results in unsoldering the other end of the wire then I'd consider soldering a wire to the battery first. Then solder the two wires together, again, using the technique described.
