Web10 years ago. My new pond (2300G)is up and running with may be 3 to 4 Sarassa (a few inches long). When the pond was a few weeks old the water was crystal clear and then all of a sudden it turned green. PH level is 7.5 and I have a home made bio-filter. I do have some floating plants (covering 45 to 50% of the pond.
